Scrap bags

been making a Boxy stars quilt.Good timing as I was planning to make Jess a quilt anyway when the challenge came up on QWU.
Got off to a good startNOT by sewing triangles on the wrong corners on 7 squares. Started again and the 48 blocks are done and joined into 12 larger ones.Pleased with the colours.
More planned than my usual scrappy style.

African Influence

Finished my 12 x 12.Number 1 of my Dainty Dozen.
Took a couple of photos and 1 without the flash was quite spooky.(Will reckons it is spooky anyway).

Been attaching a binding on my mini quilt today.

The african lady is masked with muslin and pva glue and I hope to make this part of my 12 x 12

2012,this will be the year I do some machine quilting.
Have a couple of Jan swaps in the pipeline.Every month I am taking part in a 12 x 12 art quilt make.For yourself,on the theme of certain letters of the alphabet each month.
