Batik - cyprus

The colours in this really reminded me of the pebbles,cliffs and rocks we saw in cyprus so I am going to applique a kestrel and a gekko on it too.

Putting together some batiks in browns and naturals,bars sewn together then cut them up and sew them back together in a different arrangement!!!!!!!!
Looking good but what colour to use as betweens and borders,I had thought dark brown but now not so sure.
