How does it get to be december already. Had a few funny turns with falls so have had my hip x-rayed and awaiting results. Trouble with 2 of my machines but completed my 12 x 12s and that is the end of the years project.Put together a purple sample slice for Gwen to make an Elements quilt,should be good, as the others are. Took part in a swap where we constructed a 6 x 4 Winter themed pic and sent it off to someone else to finish.We ,of course have to reiprocate.Mine went to Cindy and I have posted her finished piece last week.I hope she likes it. Finished up my Snow queen quilt ,just need to hand sew down the binding.Will post a pic tomorrow. Made up a top for Will;s step g/d who is having a little girl in Feb. Lauren herself is just a babe but Hey. Did a 10 minute runner for Lisa,didn;t take much longer than that actually,longer to make 2 tassells.

Cannot believe it is 2 months since I was on last. Lost my good old girl Tilly dog and have a new pup Jasper. Had a few flare ups with my Arthur so haven't done much.2 little houses,1 is for caitlin who is 5 in october and the other is for Jesss(2) Finished up the lime quilt for Rach and barry,got the Blueberry Crumbcake together and quilted in the ditch.I intend to try my free motion out on the triangle parts.Did my monthly 12 x 12s and completed a swap for Sandy in A

Wow another month here already.
Finished up a bedrunner for Lisa in purples and an I spy quilt with 65 pairs of squares for jake and Jess.They have been playing with the top for the last few weeks but finally got a binding on it.

May already,made a felted 12 x 12 and a heart 12 x 12.Bobby a black white and lime green quilt,finished the boxy stars and the teacup table runner.Bird pincushion,PC PC thread painted thistle.Finished a small workbox with handles and Jess took it off me.!!! Lisa wanted a purple bed runner and I have the top done,plan on putting black borders on. Working on some Japanese folded patchwork for my May 12.x 12

Cannot believe it is 2 months since I was on here last.Been busy and here we are 1st day of Spring. Did a gold 12 x 12 for Feb and I am making a felted one for March. Made a layercake quilt in set in squares,sandwiched the Boxy Stars and had a go on MY NEW SEWING MACHINE to quilt it. Turned 60 in Feb and got a pension lumper so treat myself to a Pfaff. Good friend Bev lost her little G/daughter before her birth but almost lost her daughter Sammi too.Must be absolutely devestating. Made a pincushion,a quilt for jack and am working on one for Bobby. Also made a teacup table runner for a challenge on QWU. Was part of a multi sliced art quilt too and got mine sent off and recieved in time.Made a tea cosy for BJ as a hostess gift Now looking back over this I have accomplished more than I thought I had. Played around with the stitches on my m/c to get used to it.

Scrap bags

been making a Boxy stars quilt.Good timing as I was planning to make Jess a quilt anyway when the challenge came up on QWU.
Got off to a good startNOT by sewing triangles on the wrong corners on 7 squares. Started again and the 48 blocks are done and joined into 12 larger ones.Pleased with the colours.
More planned than my usual scrappy style.

African Influence

Finished my 12 x 12.Number 1 of my Dainty Dozen.
Took a couple of photos and 1 without the flash was quite spooky.(Will reckons it is spooky anyway).
